Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the combat sports. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd became more confident after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated during the first round. Ladd went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill as she was able to stop her third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by using her ground and pound tactics which resulted in a TKO 2nd round win. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round and got an outstanding performance bonus. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision and her Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. In a match that was a replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
