Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish is well known for her film roles as Heidi in the film Somersault (2004). She also played Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and for her work with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and The Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish played a part in the cast that won her the first Screen Actors Guild Award for the movie Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and a host of others, was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin's parents were incredibly supportive in encouraging her to pursue a career as an actor. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin honed her skills. Gilpin began acting Off-Broadway while she was auditioning for roles in film and television. She landed a guest spot on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and followed that up with small roles for the films Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to land TV guest spots over time. Her debut big break came in 2013 when she was cast as the main character on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin's character, Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, appeared in 34 episodes of Nurse Jackie prior to the show's finale. was cancelled on June 15th, 2015. Gilpin played the lead role in True Story (2015) the subsequent year.
