Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded that are mostly of the martial arts or horror types. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies with a morbid fascination. She began reviewing in late 2009 and, after garnering some recognition in the forums (under the old name Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. The channel remained member of the channel through January of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! Brad Jones has had her appear as a guest in numerous episodes of his show Midnight Screenings. She reviews terrible films for children or RiffTrax programs, and also occasional adult humor (including Baywatch (2017)). She started reviewing films in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining popularity through Channel Awesome forums. Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the reviewers of the channel's family. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a part of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen on the show Nostalgia Critic.
